ABOUT KATHY

I’m Kathy Castañon, owner and photographer of Lines & Light Studio.

My career began in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry more than 25 years ago. After becoming a professional photographer in 2006, I brought that experience behind the camera and developed a specialty in photographing the built environment.

I understand the care and collaboration required to bring a project from concept to completion. That perspective helps me recognize the lines, light, materials, and details that communicate the intent behind a design.

I work closely with architects, interior designers, contractors, developers, and building owners to create polished imagery that highlights the character of each project and supports the way their work is presented and shared.

When I’m not photographing or editing, I enjoy cooking with my family, birding, gardening, and traveling.
